Last week was super busy!
Tuesday after the usual tiring four lectures went to make kueh lapis with the rest :) From scratch!!! What an achievement! We were very proud of ourselves cause it tastes like (maybe better) than bengawan solo! But the only drawback was that it took 5 hours to make one cake but it was fun sitting there eating and talking with everyone yeps.
Wednesday got up early and went down to the supermarket to get stuff for Whui's party and then in the evening we went over to make the food and i made herbal chicken and pineapple rice for dinner for them. Yays!
Our surprise was good fun just that i was feeling very tired! Haha. Her brother let us in and we managed to set up everything candles and food and all before she came back :) Then after eating and talking we played games and then let around 3 am yawns
The next morning i was supposed to go to kent to see a patient and guess what i woke up late. I was very disgusted with myself! :/ Cause i called the irresponsible partner the day before and warned him not to be late OOPS But anyway i was so tired i had to have tons of caffeine! The interview was OK but the stupid partner of mine fell asleep again. sigh. and then we had a seminar after that. Came back into London late and totally crashed.
Friday after school whui yujia selina and i went to borough market to walk around and sample food and then we ended up at this cafe by the river drinking coffee and chatting. At night went for Laksa that zhen cooked for us :) And then Merdeka this musical done by the kings singapore malaysian society. It was very good, very singaporean :) Saw so many familiar faces haha it's funny how you see people you have literally not seen in years!! Went to macs after that with whui and ada and then sat and talked till like 12 and then when we went out we met a drunk person on the street so scary!
Went down to Oxford on Sunday to see Emily, my friend from Guides camp i met in 2002 when i came here for the international guide camp. I thought it would be quite weird but it turned out quite well and it was good catching up! The only downside was that it rained the whole day so she couldn't bring me to some stuff she intended to show me in oxford. Oxford is nice but a bit too small with nothing much to do compare to London but it has character :) Nice old buildings and quaint cafes with good food.
That's my busy week. In a desperate attempt to balance work and play. Haha

Anatomy lectures today were pure torture. I forgot how draining anatomy lectures can be after such a long time.
I have to do my clinical presentation next week and its counted! Ahhh
